We are a locally owned small buisness run by brothers Levi and Jarom Triffitt. We are located in Northern Tasmania and we produce entertaining films which feature stunts, clean cut comedy and awesome Tasmanian scenery. We started the business in 2011 from recieving good feedback on a former video we produced and uploaded to youtube, our first video online reached over 1million views in a year. We now produce dvds/films that are self distributed all around Australia, we also have a clothing range and other promotional products on our online store.
In January 2012 we reached World headlines with a skull we found which we thought to be a Tasmanian Tigers. The news went on National television, unfortunately for us our local museum tested it to be some breed of canine which has never been identified.
In 2012 we took our young families around Australia to promote our films and also raise awareness to Autism a disorder which our third brother Corom has. We spent 6months on the road marketing our first dvd halfway through the trip we decided to do a small fundraiser for families with Autism which we called Every street for Autism" from this we were able to donate some money to a family with a little boy named Oscar who has severe Autism.
With the release of our 2nd dvd in 2013 and our efforts in fundraising we were able to star on National Television featuring on Today Tonight.
What goals do you have for the future of Tassie Boys?
We would like to produce a third film that inspires youth to have a good time and enjoy life without the influence of drugs, alchohol and violence. To encourage youth to be confident in there future and fulfill their dreams.
We've particiapted in community projects in the past helping out families with Austism and in future would like to continue to do so however we can and if possible get more involved with helping the youth of today.
